Preparing for a Thanksgiving Feast and Shopping
Posted by: info | November 23, 2006
Starting on Fri. 11/24 will kick off the debt season. This is the most popular time for Americans to get into or dive deeper in debt. Look at the newspaper on Thursday and just see how many ads or sales will be running. Everyone thinks they must get out and jump on these sales. The question is are you really saving money? A lot of retail stores will carry sales on certain items or door busters that are good for only a few hours and believe it or not most of the other items are at retail price or out of style. The companies know you will be out shopping so what better time to get full price on their merchandise. The door busters may be to good to resist but all I am saying is be careful of your spending and analyze the savings. Is it worth it to drive all over town, fight the big crowds and use your valuable family time to save $10-$15 dollars? Also you might have to deal with stock issues or have trouble getting certain items if they sell out. Anyway just something to think about while your enjoying and giving thanks to everyone and everything you have. I hope you could help people in need this holiday season if possible. Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
