Homeowners Insurance covers roof damage
Posted by: info | November 29, 2006
Did you know many Americans have damaged roofs with homeowners insurance and have not made a claim. They might be scared their rates will rise or maybe unaware of the potential damages a messed up roof can cost. Most Insurance companies would be more than happy to fix your roof to avoid many of the future potential repairs a damaged roof can lead to. If you have leaks or missing shingles, water can seep underneath them and rot out all of the wood work under your shingles, on your ceiling and even cause it to collapse and damage your floors or worse yet, hurt someone. So if you have had a bad storm in the past or if your shingles are old, have your roof checked out and repaired if recommended by a professional. It will be well worth filing a claim to keep your home and family save and avoid many future potential damages.
