Better late than never

It is never to late to start investing. 401k and 401b are still fairly new compared to pension plans and company retirement accounts. Many baby boomers have still not took advantage of the new and exciting retirement accounts. If you are working you should take advantage of what your company is providing you. More times than not you can get an extra 5-7% in money the company puts in. Let this grow over a couple of years and with the right investments and stock play you can do very well. So if you are with a company offering 401k or 401b enroll asap. Don’t let another day of this incredible opportunity pass you by. You will be able to use this money in your retirement years. If you just don’t want to mess with it, hire someone a third party who for a fee can help invest your retirement account based on your needs and goals. It is better than not investing at all. Just make sure you do some research on the company and talk with co-workers to see how they have done.
