Hardest Part of a Budget
Posted by: info | January 22, 2007
I have emails daily from people needing help with their budget. It almost seems impossible for most people to do a budget. Why?
I would say about 90% or more have trouble starting it. When they look at their budget compared to what they make it doesn’t take long for them to realize major finacial problems are here. The hardest part for most is getting started. Consumers are so far in the hole they can’t stay on a budget because everything is behind or due now. So I think consumers should tackle the most important bills before anything. You should set your own priorites based on your lifestyle and situation. Some very important bills could be….
- Rent/Mortgage
- Utilities Water/Gas/Electric
- Transportation Car/Gas/Insurance
You should try and get these bills organized and paid first. If you have to, take a month or so to get your bills organized and on budget. It may be a big challenge but setting your budget should help you obtain your goals and organize your spending. Who knows you may end up have more money than you think.
